Whether it’s a redesign or a whole new site, I can create a unique look for your brand. I never use cookie-cutter templates, and I will not just add your company name and a stock image to a previously made design and call it yours. Inksplash provides unique products for each client, examining your needs and providing a website that best fits your goals.
The Design Process
1. Project Plan & Sitemap
We’ll review the goals you have for your site and your business: Increased sales? Facilitate communication? Advertise new products? Share industry news and information? Either in a face-to-face meeting or over the phone for non-local clients, we will brainstorm about the navigation structure and come up with fun and crazy ideas that will make your site more useful.
2. Design Mockups & Wireframes
Before I start creating the site design, I’ll need some direction and inspiration from you. The easiest thing to do is surf the web and take notes about what you like and don’t like on other websites. Once I’m armed with your ideas, I’ll combine them with my own and get to work designing your new website. You’ll be asked to provide feedback at various stages in the design process until you’re happy with the result.
3. Website Content
While I’m busy creating, you’ll need to gather your website content. You can hire a copywriter for this job or do it in-house. I’ll provide you with a site outline so you’ll know exactly what is required.
4. Website Development
After the design is approved, it’s time to build the site. I’ll code the page templates, construct and install any content management systems that are needed, upload and add your content to the site, and test things along the way.
5. Final Review & Launch
Almost there! The more eyes on the site before the launch, the better- so take a look, read and click and read and click. Once the final edits are completed and everything is deemed ready to go, we’ll launch the site.
