Twelve Oaks Mansion is Pittsburgh wedding and event venue, with gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces. However, their old website wasn’t connecting with the audience they wanted to attract. They also recently shifted their services from catering and events to just events, so the website needed to reflect those changes.

Before designing anything, we did some search visibility research to discover how people are currently finding them online. Then we identified new keyword phrases that we could implement into the new site to attract a wider audience.

Then it was time for the website design! We started with branding, and I mocked up a few style boards to show the visuals we would incorporate into the website. It was so much fun coming up with the perfect color palette and typography! And the client loved the little leaf divider I created.

One highlight of the project for me was all of the beautiful photos from actual events held at Twelve Oaks. The photographers all captured the magic of the spaces, and incorporating those into the site elevates the whole visual experience!

The main goal for the site is to get visitors to come in for a visit, so a call-to-action to schedule a tour was a big focus on every page. There is also a large vendor directory for couples to view the fantastic service providers that Twelve Oaks partners with for their events. And of course the video virtual tour is a great feature as well!
