Maintenance & Support for WordPress
stress less with a safe & secure website
WordPress is software, just like your phone or computer, and it requires regular updates and checks to keep things running smoothly.
Neglecting these tasks can leave your site vulnerable to performance issues or even site hacks… and NOBODY has time for that!
Monthly WordPress maintenance keeps your website safe & secure, running without worry. Spend more time doing your actual job and less time fussing with your website, knowing you have a behind-the-scenes tech expert handling it all for you.

WordPress Maintenance Plan FAQs
What’s in the monthly site maintenance report?
Each month you’ll get an email listing all of the backups that have been performed along with a documentation of each update that has been installed (core files, plugins, and themes).
What if I don’t use my 1 hour of e-commerce tech support?
E-commerce sites have more moving parts and tech issues, order failures, and other questions come up a lot. Tech support is included as insurance against surprise costs with keeping your online shop running. Time doesn’t roll over month-to-month if it’s not used.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you no longer need or want the maintenance service, I just need 30 days notice via email. If you’ve paid for a year, unfortunately that cost is not refundable.
What if my WordPress website gets hacked?
If a regular scan turns up something sketchy, I’ll try to remove the affected files. If that doesn’t work, I’ll attempt restoring from a backup and/or coordinating with the webhost to clean things up.
What if a WordPress update breaks my site?
I usually turn off all automatic updates so that I can test right away. If something goes wrong, I’ll work to find the culprit (typically a plugin conflict or a setting that needs to be tweaked!) If that doesn’t work, we can restore to the most recent backup and then figure out a solution from there.
How do we restore the website from a backup?
I use UpdraftPlus to generate zip files of the site, which makes it easy to restore to a previous version of the site. The web host usually also has backups, but I prefer to have my own too – just in case!
What if I need something done on my website outside of the maintenance package?
If you have additional site updates or changes that aren’t covered by the maintenance service, just reach out with details and I can get you a quote! You can also check out my VIP Day service.
